Unstable connection
Read the broadcast’s current message first. Interrupted audio data does not identify the cause; use network advice when there is evidence of a connection problem.
This guide is currently only available in English.
Audio delivery is interrupted means new audio data is not reaching the broadcast. The message does not identify the cause. A network warning uses the device’s offline reports. Neither message alone measures microphone quality or confirms that listeners hear translated speech.
If it's your network
Switch to a wired connection
Try an Ethernet cable if one is available, then check whether the interruptions stop.
Get closer to the router
If you use wi-fi, try moving closer to the router and check the connection again.
Free up bandwidth
If other transfers are loading the same connection, pause them and check the broadcast again.
Avoid restricted guest wi-fi
Check whether the guest network requires login or restricts the connection. A tested mobile hotspot can provide a fallback.
Before the service
Wired if at all possible
Try an Ethernet cable for the broadcast device if one is available. Check the broadcast and audio on a listener phone.
Its own connection — not the guest network
If listeners use the church wi-fi, test the broadcast under the expected load. Consider a separate network or cable if the shared connection becomes congested.
Bandwidth
Test a broadcast with the expected network use. A speed test alone does not establish uninterrupted audio delivery.
Keep a mobile hotspot ready
Test a mobile hotspot beforehand if you want to use it as an alternative during connection problems.
How to know it worked
The audio-resumption message appears when new audio data arrives. Pausing or closing the connection only clears the earlier interruption notice. Also check translated audio on a listener phone; a cleared warning alone does not confirm it works.
The connection keeps being unstable
