Yes. Listeners can use any Bluetooth headphones, wired earbuds, or just their phone speaker. The audio plays directly from the browser — no app needed.

Yes. OCvoice is built by OCplan ApS, a Danish company subject to EU GDPR regulations. All data is stored on servers in Ireland (EU). Transcripts, translations, and audio are automatically deleted after 90 days. For processing, we use three providers: Soniox (speech recognition), Anthropic Claude (translation), and Google Cloud (text-to-speech) — all with data processing agreements. No personal data from listeners is collected — they don't even need to create an account.

OCvoice requires an internet connection to process speech and translations in real time. If connectivity is briefly interrupted, the system reconnects automatically when the connection is restored. We recommend a stable Wi-Fi or wired connection for the broadcaster device.

Yes. OCvoice can translate into all 57 supported languages simultaneously. Each listener picks their own language. There's no limit to how many languages you can run at once, and you only pay for languages that have active listeners.

OCvoice uses simple per-minute billing. You pay a flat rate per minute for speech recognition, plus a per-language rate for translation and text-to-speech. The more minutes you use each month, the bigger your automatic volume discount. Discounts apply instantly when you cross a usage threshold — no waiting. Usage resets on the 1st of each month. You can see your current rate and discount in the Organization settings on your dashboard.
